lens imageImages that stand out — images that show the emotion of a moment in time.

When ever I take an image I like to think that I’m capturing a moment in time, a fleeting glimpse of something that may never be seen again. We all see things differently and I always aim to let my photographs show how I view the world around me.

Whether it is an event like a local folk festival, the environment or a tiny beach side bungalow in south east Asia, I like to show my perspective of this amazing world we live in. I believe in unobtrusive photographs where I am nothing more than an observer passing by. I don’t particularly like staged photographs or images that have been digitally manipulated unless it helps tell the story.

Using my images

All my images are copyright protected and are available in digital format only. If you would like to use an image please don’t hesitate to contact me. I can supply print ready images at 300dpi or web ready images at 72dpi. Prices vary depending on how and where you would like to use the image. Simply take a look through my portfolios and take a note of the album name and image number.

My equipment

Technology moves quickly these days and I’m still using my trusty Nikon D70. It has survived the tropical jungles of Asia and, I’d like to think, still takes a good quality shot. I like to use natural light as much as possible, but I’ll use a flash when I absolutely have to. I generally carry a couple of lenses, but I’ll always keep things simple.
