I love hiking and I love camping. Gives me an excuse to take some photographs. These images are from both the Conondale and Cooloola National Parks in Queensland, Australia

Say no more right?

Most of the camp sites can only be reached by canoe in the Cooloola National Park

I agree- absolutely beautiful images- if for no other reason than to share some of the beauty you have seen and to inspire thought- then this is a fantastic site.
Thanks Sue. It is always a pleasure to share some of the images I have.
These are some wonderful images.
I love the national parks here in West Virginia.
The Monongahela National forest is very beautiful.
There really should be more protected land so to preserve beauty like this.
Good work!
Thanks so much for your comment. And I agree with what you said about more protected land. I think if more people visited some of these areas, or if they were exposed to more images, then we would certainly have more protected land. After all, we use these national parks for recreation, or as a former lecturer of mine once said when reminding us of the origin of the word – “we need special places for our re-creation”.
