The Brief: Design a simple website for a high-pressure water and steaming cleaning company with room for future expansion and display of future jobs and results of services. Client must have the ability to make future updates.
Why the colour scheme?
The existing Wizzbins business card
Colours and layout are based on an existing business card. The site is designed to therefore match the current business identity.
What’s running the site?
WordPress with a highly modified theme from Studiopress.
Plugins

Why? To allow better search rankings and results and have better control over the site’s description
MM Forms
Why? A very simple form creator. Used for a general contact form. I have used cforms on other sites but MM Forms was quicker and neater, although it does lack the options of cforms.
Maintenance Mode
Why? The site was initially constructed behind a page which showed a ’site under construction page’ and yet allowed me, as administrator to view the site as it was constructed. It was easier and more convenient then using an index.html page. In the future it can be used for site maintenance so that any major changes aren’t performed publicly.
Future changes
The site has only recently been launched and further changes are expected to meet the client’s needs. Most of the information supplied on the site is presented as an image with the image title being used to ensure compatibility with google searches.
